Raccoon VS Cat...not pretty!

I live in South Surrey and recently my cat was outside overnight and attacked by 3 raccoons. It was a long battle and he suffered some deep wounds. Luckily, we got to him in time and is going to make a full recovery.

I wanted to send my thanks to South Point Pet Hospital who got me in right away and to Dr. Jen Meagher who took fantastic care of “Blue’s” wounds and injuries.

This is just a reminder to anyone who has pets that are outside during the night, to be careful about the raccoons around. Raccoons are attracted to many things – mostly food – fallen fruit from fruit trees, garbage, compost, even grease drippings from your BBQ can be attractive to them!
