Thank you on behalf of the Red Serge

Last night we had our 19th annual Red Serge Fundraiser. The proceeds of the event went to programs in the White Rock and South Surrey area that keep our peninsula safe. I have been on the board for 3 years and last night was the best! We has SO much fun!

We held our event at Belle's on 32nd (140th and 32nd Surrey, BC) - which had delicious food and desserts the whole night. We had 4 huge tables of silent auction items to be bid on (and some went for a ridiculously good price)!

For entertainment we had violinists play as guests enter, we had a caricaturist there taking cartoon like drawings of each guest, AND we had a photobooth with dress up items to be worn. There was almost too much to do. We played heads and tails with the prize of a whale watching trip, that yours truly won! Yes, I somehow managed to luck my way into another big win (Last year I won the diamond necklace- it's stunning)! We auctioned off 2 cases of wine to 2 lucky winners, by entering our wine draw.

Belle's was packed with community leaders from all walks of White Rock and South Surrey. It was GREAT to see the support and the businesses that help keep our area's safe. I am so proud to be a director on the board for the Semiahmoo Community Volunteer Police Society and I just want to send a BIG Thank you to those who showed their support last night.

Here's a photo of Kirsten and I with the Red Serge Constables... we were just talking about how we could have a funnier photo taken!
